Suvi-Media -Training Project - 1.1.2009 – 31.12.2011

The project offers media training for anyone interested in the topic in the Suupohja area in Finland. The aim is to increase the ability to participate the local audio/video production. Suupohja Vocational Institute  takes part in the project by providing the equipment and facilities.

The project includes media courses that don’t require previous experience. Training is multiform including both classroom teaching and virtual learning.

The course includes: 

  • Camera and light
  • Video editing
  • Digital sound
  • DVD authorization
  • IPTV and Internet TV
  • TV / video/ radio scriptwriting and journalism basic
  • Copyrights, CC licensing
  • Open source software
  • Media Production

The aim is to increase cooperation between local people and producing audiovisual content. Training increases the ability to work in the information society. The media know-how also enables the development of creative industries.

The project is operated by Suupohja Educational Federation of Municipalities and funded by Suupohja Development Association 

Suvi-Media -training project works alongside with SUVI MEDIA -project.
